Maroochydore Parish Children’s Sacrament Program Update
We are very keen to continue our Children’s Sacramental Program which has been put on hold due to the Coronavirus, however, due to the restrictions we have to adjust the program.
Penance Round A
Those children who are patiently waiting to celebrate the Sacrament of Penance we still do not have a date set but it looks like this could be soon after Fr Jan returns from holidays on July 20th. We will be in touch.
Penance Round B
This whole round has been put on hold at the moment as new dates for every step will have to be re-assigned after the Sacraments of Round A are completed.
Eucharist Round A
Those people who attended the parent night earlier in the year should have received an email on Monday outlining the next step for them. If you did not receive this email, please let me know on mission.suncoast@bne.catholic.net.au and I will send it to you. (Unfortunately some emails did bounce).
Eucharist Round B
This whole round has been put on hold at the moment as new dates for every step will have to be re-assigned after the Round A Sacraments are completed.
Confirmation Round A and B
Unfortunately both these Rounds are still on hold. We are endeavouring to set new dates, these will depend on restrictions and the Bishop’s availability.
To sum up, unfortunately all of the Children’s Sacramental Program dates we had advertised earlier in the year are incorrect. At the moment we have no Parent Information Nights scheduled. We will endeavour to keep you up to date via the school newsletters however the best way to stay informed is to sign up for our online newsletter.
